Training and coaching for junior table tennis players

Stockport Table Tennis Academy was founded in 2011 to develop junior table tennis in Stockport and to provide opportunities for youngsters to develop healthy lifestyles and positive attitudes towards sport and fitness.

The academy offers "Pay & Play" sessions for juniors girls & boys as well as coaching sessions. An advanced session will be created in the near future to bring juniors along to a higher level of play, by invitation. There are also a limited number of places for juniors, one-to-one coaching.

Table tennis sessions:

Tuesday coaching - NEW Laurus Sports Hall (Laurus High School)

• Junior beginner..........7.15 until 8.15pm

Sundays 'Pay & Play' - Cheadle College

• Junior/beginner/parent/senior..................2.00 until 3.00pm
• Adult/advanced junior league players......3.00 until 5.00pm

Annual fees;

- Membership £5.00

Competitive table tennis

Stockport Table Tennis Academy runs junior teams in the National Cadet League (under 15s), National Junior League (under 18s), Wilmslow & District League, Lacashire & Cheshire inter-league and supports players competing in junior open tournaments.
