Stockport junior table tennis player, Daniel Clarke, now has two ETTA under 13s titles to his name this season.
After his first ETTA tournament win in November, twelve year-old Daniel Clarke achieved his second ETTA career win at Blackpool Table Tennis Centre on Sunday 27 March defeating Ben Hynes from Lancashire 3-1 in the final.

Coach David Hulme, who has helped to develop Daniel’s game over the last three years, said: “I was delighted with Daniel’s play today and he fully deserved his win.”
Stockport-born Daniel started playing table tennis, age seven, in year four at Nevill Road Primary School in Bramhall and went on to become Greater Manchester Schools under elevens champion. In 2010 Daniel represented the North West region at the National Junior Finals, reaching the last sixteen and will again represent the region at the 2011 finals this April.
Having been travelling to Warrington twice a week for training, earlier this year Daniel was a founding member of Stockport Table Tennis Club, a new club based at Priestnall High School, which aims to give junior players the highest standards of coaching and training, here in Stockport.
“The opening of Stockport Table Tennis Club offers youngsters, boys and girls, the chance to play and learn the game,” said Stockport TTA Head Coach and former Stockport Junior Champion David Hulme. “It’s been a life-long ambition of mine to open a club for juniors in the borough. We get new members set up with a good bat when they join and encourage the children to have fun and meet new friends while learning to play.”
