Parrs Wood High School's table tennis team are greater manchester Schools Champions and will progress to the regional finals.
The events were staged at Oldham Hulme Grammar School in Oldham on Sunday 29 November 2015, the school did the events proud by providing a first class venue.
"All the boys played their part with William Gregson and William Hoyle unbeaten and Alfie McIntyre picking up crucial matches in each fixture," explained Stockport Table Tennis Academy Head Coach David Hulme.
Almajd also battled hard and his points would have been crucial if the final went to a points count back, which it very nearly did when William Gregson looked certain to lose against Altrincham. But the 13 year-old, the most experienced player on the team, fought back to win in five games.
