Stockport Table Tennis Academy's Ahab Isaac and William Hoyle win Manchester League titles.
Stockport Table Tennis Academy hit a league double with Ahab Isaac winning the Manchester League Division 2 2015 Championship and William Hoyle winning the Division 3 Championship.
Junior champions: Ahab Isaac and William Hoyle
Head Coach David Hulme said: "Winning both championships is a remarkable achievement for our young club. Ahab and William have each progressed well this season, training hard and their success is fully deserved. Many congratulations to both Ahab and William."
Ahab Isaac won the Manchester League Division 2 title earlier in March with wins over Earl Nanton, James Wild and, in the final, Mak Khan.
William Hoyle, in only his first full season in the Manchester League, completed the double, taking the Division 3 title without dropping a single game: beating Jhoti Mahapatra, Shonal Kapoor and Tom Belsham, in the final, all 3-0.
Both players also represent Stockport Table Tennis Academy in the National Cadet League, where the team is competing for the 2015 season championship with league leaders Warrington and an experienced Halton team. "The final day of the Cadet League season is on 26 April at Halton and it's all to play for. Winning the cadet league would be a great end to the season," added David Hulme.
