Stockport up and running in National Cadet League

Stockport two U15s teams both made impressive starts to the 2013-14 season in the National Cadet League. Stockport 1st team finished third in division one and Stockport 2nd team fininshed second in division two.

Stockport fielded two teams in the National Cadet League. Its first team of Reuben Holliday, William Gregson and Ahab Isaac got their day off to a winning start, beating Wirral 4-2, and Ramsbottom 6-0, to help the team to finish in third place in division one.
The second team comprised Matthew Gibbs, Edward Doyle and Shonal Kapoor and finished match-day one in second place in division two.
Head Coach, David Hulme, said: "both our teams are looking competitive and have made a good start to the 2013-14 season. The teams included two players making league debuts, Matthew Gibbs and Shonal Kapoor, who both made a strong contribution to their team's results today."
Stockport Table Tennis Academy is currently looking to recruit beginner players, aged 7 up, who would like to try table tennis. Beginners training takes place on Tuesdays 5.15 pm to 6.45 pm and Thursdays 6 pm to 7 pm. Apply online and one of our team will be in touch.
