Stockport under fifteens up and running

Results from match-day one of the 2014-15 season National Cadet League.
Stockport Table Tennis Academy has entered four teams into the 2014-15 season's National Cadet League: two experienced teams and two new teams. Thirteen U15s took part for Stockport, including seven players competing in their first ever competitive table tennis matches.

Stockport Head Coach, David Hulme, said: "Our academy took a big step forward this weekend with four teams entering the cadet league, up from two teams last season. Each of Stockport's players have trained hard over the Summer and made a promising start to the season, competing well across the league."
The National Cadet League is the entry point for competitive table tennis in England and takes place at thirteen regional centres across the country. Stockport's four teams play in the southern zone of the North West against teams from Ellesmere Port, Halton, Ramsbottom, Rhyl, Warrington, Wigan and Wirral.
